WaReIp – Water Reuse in Industrial Parks – successfully completed

After four years, the project WaReIp was successfully completed. The potential of industrial park-wide water reuse was investigated in overall 15 sub-projects, focussed on planning data for water demand and availability as well as treatment processes, the development of new treatment processes for hardly biodegradable and saline wastewaters, concepts for the water distribution network, quality measurements and the design of process control interfaces and the planning and assessment of water reuse concepts considering financial, ecological, technical/organisational and social criteria. The sub-projects TP 2.1 “Elimination of refractory COD” and TP 4 “Model-based planning and multi-criteria assessment” were carried out at ISAH.

The project’s results are available in the final reports of the respective project partners (in German) and will soon be available at TIBtypo3/. The final report of ISAH can be downloaded heretypo3/.

More information on the WaReIp project is available heretypo3/ typo3/and on the project homepage: www.wareip.de

The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the funding measure WavE – Future-oriented Technologies and Concepts to Increase Water Availability by Water Reuse and Desalination.
