At the 52nd Essen Conference on Water Management from 20th-22nd of March 2019, in Aachen, the master's thesis of Ms. Kim Laura Kersten was awarded the 1st prize of the Oswald Schulze Foundation. Ms. Kersten completed her master thesis at ISAH on the topic "Monitoring of Legionella in a municipal wastewater treatment plant with industrial wastewater" in July 2017.
Since 1981, the Oswald Schulze Foundation has been awarding annual commendations for outstanding diplomas and master's theses in the field of wastewater and sludge treatment.
