Welfenschloss, Welfengarten 1

If you are coming via the A7, leave the A7 at the Hannover-Nord junction in the direction of Hannover-Nord/Dortmund (A352). Follow the A352 to the A2. Take the exit "Herrhausen/Zentrum" onto the B6 (Westschnellweg). Continue as for approach from the west and east.

The approach by car is via the A2. Take the "Herrenhausen/Zentrum" exit onto the B6 (Westschnellweg). After approx. 8 km, turn left at the traffic lights onto Bremer Damm towards the city centre. After approx. 2 km this expressway ends at Königsworther Platz. In front of you, you will see the Continental high-rise building of the university location Königsworther Platz diagonally to your right. Turn sharp left into Nienburger Straße (direction Herrenhäuser Gärten) to the main university and other locations. After approx. 300 m you will see the Welfenschloss (main building) with parking facilities on your right. If you continue along the road you will come to the university locations Schneiderberg (where you will also find the Mensa), Herrenhausen and Berggarten.

Take the "Hannover-Süd" exit in the direction of the trade fair centre onto the B6 (Messeschnellweg). As soon as you have passed the trade fair centre, turn onto the B65 (Südschnellweg) in the direction of the centre. At the roundabout take the first exit (Frankfurter Allee/B6/B65). Stay on the A6. To stay on the A6, take the second exit (Friedrich-Ebert-Straße/B6) at the roundabout. At Deisterplatz take the second exit and follow the B6. Use one of the 2 right lanes to turn right onto Bremer Damm (signs to Hannover/Zentrum). After approx. 2 km turn left at the first traffic light onto Nienburger Str..

From the main train station you walk approx. 250 m through the city centre to the station "Kröpcke", or take the tram 1 (direction Laatzen or Sarstedt), 2 (Rethen), 3 (Wettbergen), 7 (Wettbergen), 8 (Messe/Nord) or 9 (Empelde). From the station "Kröpcke" you can reach the university in about 5 minutes. Take the tram line 4 in the direction of Garbsen or 5 in the direction of Stöcken. To get to the main building of the university, get off at the stop "Leibniz Universität". You will see the Welfenschloss (main building) in front of you.

The ISAH is located in the east wing of the main building of the Leibniz University Hannover on the first three floors. The conference room is on the ground floor. The secretary and the chair are on the second floor.
